The Loop

How It Works

From seed to harvest to real-world food — here's the full journey your gameplay takes.

1

Build Your Farm

Your journey starts with a small plot of land. You plant seeds, water your crops, and tend your farm through the seasons. As you progress, you unlock new crop types, expand your land, and earn in-game tools and upgrades that make your farm more productive.

Tiny Farm Heroes is designed to be genuinely fun first. The game rewards patience and care — the same qualities that make a real farm thrive.

2

Sell to the Co-op

When your crops are ready, you sell them to the Tiny Farm Heroes Co-op — an in-game marketplace that operates like a real agricultural cooperative. The co-op sets prices for each crop type based on in-game supply, demand, and season.

This is where the magic happens: each crop's co-op price is pegged to a small real monetary value. When you sell a bushel of carrots for 10 co-op credits, those credits represent real cents that flow into the co-op's donation pool.

Example

You harvest 50 carrots and sell them to the co-op. The co-op values carrots at 2¢ each in real terms. Your harvest contributes $1.00 to the donation pool — without you spending a single cent.

3

The Co-op Donates

The co-op pools donations from all players and periodically distributes them to vetted non-profit farm partners. These are real farms using sustainable growing practices — rebuilding soil health, conserving water, avoiding harmful inputs — and donating a meaningful portion of their harvest to food-insecure communities.

Donations are tracked and reported publicly. You can see which farms received support, how much was donated, and what it funded. We believe you deserve to know exactly what your gameplay accomplished.

4

Real Food Reaches Real Families

Partner farms use the donations to grow and distribute food to local communities — through food banks, community fridges, school programs, and direct distribution. The food grown on sustainable non-profit farms is fresher, more nutritious, and grown with the health of the land in mind.

Your farm in the game becomes a small but real link in a chain that ends with a family having something good to eat.

Where Does the Money Come From?

Tiny Farm Heroes is free to play. The donation pool is funded through a combination of optional in-game purchases (cosmetic items, farm decorations), partnerships, and sponsorships — none of which are required to play or to donate. A portion of every optional purchase flows directly into the co-op donation pool alongside the gameplay-driven contributions.

The exact breakdown and sustainability model will be published in full before launch. We are committed to radical transparency about how this works.
